Rhonald McDonald House September 17, 2011 Our club will be meeting Friday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m. to prepare Spinach Lasagna and finalize plans for serving the meal on Saturday, September 17.
Breast Cancer Association 2011
Each year our club chooses a national organization to help and/or assist through either donated funds raised by one of our fundraising events, or through our own projects to help bring hope and encouragement. April 31, 2011 we prepared cards and flowers and presented them to the local Tallahassee Memorial Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center for recovering patients.
GIFT TO LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS 2011
Our club leaders delivered 2 boxes of citrus fruit variety packs to Fire station #6 on Appalachee Parkway on Sunday, January 30,2011. Our club wanted to thank them for taking the time to come out and teach our club about fire safety. Thank You, Firemen!
CHRISTMAS CAROLING 2010
The Panthers Adventurer Club participated in church group Christmas caroling Saturday night, December 18, 2010. Caroling was followed by a church social, in our church's Fellowship Hall.
TALLAHASSEE VETERANS DAY PARADE 2010
The Panthers Adventurer Club participated in the Veterans Day Parade Thursday, November 11, 2010.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD 2010
Many children around the world have never had a Christmas Present. Our Panthers Club would like to do what we can to show we care by participating in Operation Christmas Child. We are collecting NEW items for packing and shipping. And you can help us! Please join us in donating as many of the items listed below as you would like. And place them in the Christmas Child Collection Box no later than Saturday, November 6, 2010. Our Panthers Adventurer Club will wrap and ship all items.
Thank you all for your help! We were able to donate 36 shoeboxes.
We are going to leave this wepage on-line and ready to repeat this event next year. So be gathering your items for 2011!
